As the E-commerce Marketplace Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing our merchandising and advertising operations across First Tactical marketplace operations (e.g. Amazon, ExpertVoice, Walmart). This role will be responsible for managing our growth strategy and agency partners to achieve our revenue and ad spend goals. In addition, this role will be responsible for handling our merchandising on Amazon, such as price updates and new SKU creation.
This role requires a team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adaptable to change. A successful Coordinator in this role will keep the big picture context in mind while managing the detailed day-to-day of First Tactical’s marketplace channels and will proactively share and request needed information and context cross-functionally.
This role is ideal for a smart, scrappy, motivated individual who enjoys a blend of strategic and tactical work. It will involve both identifying opportunities to use data to improve the business (strategic) and implement the processes and solutions needed to operate and scale the business (tactical).
Reports to: Digital Brand Manager
Pay: $28-31/hour
Responsibilities:
- Work with our advertising managed service partner
- Own advertising management of Marketplace channels, primarily Amazon.com, as well as other channels, to ensure we achieve our revenue and advertising spend goals
- Control merchandising operations across channels, such as new SKU creation and rationalization, promotions, and price updates
- Analyze marketplace advertising and merchandising data and provide recommendations to the Director of Digital Brand regarding opportunities to optimize our marketing and merchandising
- Prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery
- Work with internal stakeholders and manage external agency partner to ensure we achieve our aims
Requirements/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-3 years of experience managing Amazon or Google paid advertising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred
- Someone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency
- Someone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcome
- Someone who proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humor
Physical Demands/Work Conditions:
- Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
- Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 30 pounds across office for various needs
- Repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard
